IT Support Engineer (Level 1)

Responsibilities

  • 1st level Help Desk support: provide a single point of contact for both, internal and external clients
  • Make an efficient initial assessment of customers` requests: either resolve or assign them to the 2nd level support accordingly
  • Record and track incidents and complaints keeping clients informed on their requests’ status and progress
  • Manage clients requests’ life-cycle including closure and verification
  • Produce and update statistics and reports to both, clients and Avaloq management
  • Translate messages and communication regarding specific banking and IT topics in English and Swiss national languages

Skills

  • At least 1 - 2 years of work experience as Service Desk Operator or similar 
  • Language skills: excellent level of Italian and English, preferable good knowledge of German and/or French
  • Very good Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows technical competencies
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven client and result orientation
  • Ability to work successfully both in a team and independently
  • Stress resistant and quick in reaction times
  • Flexibility and availability to work on shifts
  • Banking and/or IT experience is a plus
