  • Leading interdisciplinary test teams
  • Creating the test concept (project) and the test plan (e.g. the test methods and test organization)
  • Planning, controlling and evaluating the test activities (e.g. selecting the employee and test tool deployment, as well as the test environments and test infrastructure for testing)
  • Guiding of the team members (and if necessary cooperation) in the test analysis, test design and reviews
  • Supporting the test execution and test evaluation
  • Defining the tool strategy as well as planning and coordinating the automated tests
  • Planning and coordinating the setup of the test environments and the provision of test data
  • Takeovering the defect management in cooperation with development teams and customer
  • Preparing the test reports (progress reports, bug reports as well as test completion reports and approvals)
  • Ensuring audit-compliant test and release documentation
  • Working closely with the integration and release managers
  • Conducting internal training


  • In-depth knowledge of the test objects (technical processes, technology, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of quality assurance and testing with appropriate methods and practices
  • ISTQB Certified Software Tester (Foundation level) or equivalent education and experience
  • Knowledge in design and implementation of IT solutions
  • Knowledge in project management
  • In-depth knowledge in change management
  • In-depth knowledge of HERMES, proven by a certificate
  • Decision-making and assertiveness
  • Teamwork, communication skills and conflict resolution skills
  • Good writing skills, eg. B. create test concepts and test reports
  • Fluent German and English
